is highlighted through the friendship and sense of connection evident
when we come together.
walks with us and having come through many troubles with his protection,
we seek with privilege to emulate all that he stands for - tradition,

Miss Gertrude Brady was the first resident organist and choir mistress
in St Anthony's from the 1950's. She led the hymn singing at two masses
on Sundays and other church occasions. She taught music and singing in
St Anthony's School and trained the children's choir who sang at 10.00am
mass every Sunday. Sadly, Gertie passed away on Friday 27th November,
2009 and her funeral Mass was held on Tuesday 1st December, 2009. The
full choir was in attendance and sang her favourite hymns.
